Blessingway into Womanhood takes notice of the transition of menarche, the beginning of puberty, which marks a woman’s capacity for fertility. It is the celebration of a girl becoming a woman, surrounded by her community at this momentous change in her life.

Blessingway into Womanhood is another powerful ceremony where participants help to prepare the honoured woman for a good journey through life.

As with all blessingway, the young woman is invited to feel her power, to envision her success, and feel a part of the rhythms of life, while her community empowers her with honour, love, courage, and strength.
